West Virginia has approved the following conditions for medical cannabis:

• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

• Cancer

• Chronic pain that is:

  • severe

  • intractable

• Crohn’s disease

• Epilepsy

• HIV/AIDS

• Huntington’s disease

• Multiple sclerosis

• Neuropathies

• Parkinson’s disease

• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

• Seizures

  • Intractable

• Sickle cell anemia

• Spinal Cord Injury

  • Damage to the nervous tissue with objective neurological indication of intractable spasticity

• Terminal illness that is defined as a medical prognosis of life expectancy of approximately one year or less if the illness runs its normal course
